Austin Yost, a dedicated member of the US Army’s Soldier and Family Readiness Group, tragically passed away recently. His passing has left his family, friends, and the community deeply saddened.
Austin devoted eight years of his life to serving in the 1-163rd C Company, where he became a beloved figure within his unit. He concluded his service in July 2024. Austin was not only a committed soldier but also a devoted husband to Neva and a loving father to Amethyst.
Dan Hansen, who organized a fundraiser on behalf of the Yost family, expressed in his tribute, "I had the privilege of witnessing Austin’s kindness, wit, and generosity. His spirit will continue to illuminate the lives of those who knew him."
The GoFundMe campaign, aimed at supporting the Yost family through this difficult time, has already received heartfelt contributions.
The family plans to announce the details of Austin’s memorial services in the coming days. His loved ones will forever remember him for his selflessness, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
