Frederick, Maryland – Anastasia Marie Yarborough, affectionately known as Stacy, passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 32, leaving her family, friends, and loved ones deeply saddened.
Known for her infectious personality, Stacy was celebrated for her ability to bring joy into every room she entered, often lifting spirits with her unique stories and vibrant laughter.
Her cousin Gabrielle Baker shared her thoughts on social media, remembering Stacy as “adventurous, strong, and loving” and expressing the profound impact Stacy had on her life.
Stacy’s family and friends describe her as a beacon of resilience, despite the challenges she faced, including her battle with addiction.
Elizabeth Yarborough-Huret, Stacy’s aunt, recalled that her niece’s love for her family and friends remained steadfast despite her struggles.
A celebration of her life will be held at Stauffer’s Funeral Home in Frederick on October 31, followed by a funeral service at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church on November 1.
Stacy’s sister Georgia described her as “irreplaceable,” mourning the loss of her “other half.”
Stacy is remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
