Corvallis, Montana – In a heartbreaking incident, 58-year-old Anthony Villarreal tragically passed away following a kayaking accident at Dogtown Lake on Friday, September 27, 2024.
The local community is mourning the loss of a beloved family man and outdoor enthusiast whose passion for adventure was well-known.
According to reports, Villarreal was enjoying a day of kayaking when sudden high winds caused his kayak to capsize.
Despite the presence of a life jacket on his boat, he was not wearing it at the time of the incident.
His body was recovered the next day, bringing immense grief to his family and friends.
Anthony’s son shared his sorrow on social media, expressing, “My dad was in a kayak accident yesterday… He had a heart attack, and his kayak flipped over. They recovered his body today.”
