Hartford, Wisconsin – Julie A. Hanrahan, a cherished member of the Hartford community, passed away peacefully at The Kathy Hospice on September 21, 2024. Julie, who was 55 years old, was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.
Born on May 20, 1969, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Julie was the daughter of Robert C. and Candice A. Karnack. She graduated from Forest Park High School in 1987 and continued her education at Bryant and Stratton College, where she earned her degree in 1989. Julie dedicated 35 years of her career to Derco Aerospace, excelling in quality control and earning the admiration of her colleagues.
Julie married David J. Hanrahan in 2007, and together they shared 17 years of love and joy. Julie was known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and her love for cooking, traveling, and supporting the Green Bay Packers. She also adored her dog, Ellie, who brought immense happiness into her life.
Her family, including her husband David and her daughter Claire Elizabeth Hanrahan, was her greatest source of pride. Julie was also survived by her sister Debra J. Peterson and her extended family, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
