Carol Ailes, a cherished member of the LaCrosse, IN community, has passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born on January 17, 1938, in Kouts to Benjamin and Lena (Marti) Hitz, she was known for her warmth and welcoming spirit, reflected in her active membership at the LaCrosse Apostolic Christian Church.
Friends and family have expressed their condolences on social media. LeeAnn Brewer remarked, "I will always have fond memories of her… So very kind," while Lori McMahan Knoche added, "I’m so sorry for your loss… sending lots of love and prayers to the family." A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, followed by a funeral service on Friday, with burial at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Carol’s legacy of kindness and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
