Elizabethtown, PA – The community of Elizabethtown College is mourning the loss of Bill Angelina, a former cross country and track and field athlete, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 25, 2024.
Bill was just 24 years old at the time of his death.
Born on January 25, 2000, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Bill was a graduate of Penncrest High School in 2018 and later earned his degree in Mathematical Business with a Data Analytics minor from Elizabethtown College.
He completed his degree in just three years while also excelling as a student-athlete, making lasting memories as part of the cross-country team.
Bill’s love for running continued long after college, as he completed four marathons, achieving a personal goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
He was also known for his professional accomplishments, working as an Assistant Vice President at Guy Carpenter, where he thrived in his role and was beloved by his colleagues.
Bill’s friends and family recall his sense of humor, kindness, and dedication to those around him.
Many cherished memories include his spirited debates as a devoted Philadelphia sports fan and his talent for making everyone feel important.
Bill Angelina’s life may have been tragically short, but his impact on those who knew him will be felt for years to come.
