Springer, who had worked for Hanemaayer Greenhouses for over 25 years, was a dedicated worker known for his humor and warmth.

Originally from Barbados, Springer leaves behind children and grandchildren, many of whom still reside in Barbados.

His tragic passing has left a profound impact on his colleagues, friends, and the broader community.

In a GoFundMe post organized by Derrick DeBolster, the owners of Hanemaayer Greenhouses expressed their sorrow, noting, "Boogie was more than just an employee; he was a friend and confidant."

The fundraiser is aimed at helping Springer’s family with funeral arrangements and supporting his loved ones as they travel to Canada to mourn.

Condolences have poured in, with Kim Dykstra-Brown expressing, "I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s so tragic," while Karri O’Shaughnessy remarked, "Sending love and prayers to his friends and family during this very difficult time."
