Sawyer County, Wisconsin – Brad Burdette, a 56-year-old man from East Troy, Wisconsin, tragically lost his life in a motorbike accident this past Friday in Sawyer County.
The accident occurred on Phipps Road near Gouch Circle Road in Lenroot town.
According to a report from the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, Burdette was traveling westbound when, for reasons yet to be determined, his motorbike veered off the road into the northern ditch and continued for several hundred feet before coming to a stop.
Burdette was ejected from the bike upon impact and died at the scene.
Emergency responders confirmed his death, though it is not yet known if he was wearing protective gear like a helmet at the time of the crash.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
This incident marks the 77th biker fatality in Wisconsin this year, sparking renewed concerns over motorbike safety and the importance of protective gear.
