Hayesville, North Carolina – Brian Douglas Ball, a 26-year-old resident of Hayesville, passed away on September 21, 2024. Born in Murphy, NC, on October 13, 1997, Brian spent his life surrounded by the mountains he cherished. He was a graduate of Andrews High School, class of 2015, where he was an active participant in school sports and a proud member of the Andrews Wildcats.
Brian was known for his adventurous spirit and deep love of the outdoors. He spent much of his free time hunting and fishing in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. His passion for nature was matched by his dedication to his work as an equipment operator, where his strong work ethic made a lasting impression on those who knew him.
His passing leaves behind a close-knit family and many friends who remember him as someone who lived life to the fullest. Brian is survived by his mother, Wendy Parker, father, Robbie Parker, and siblings Ashlyn Roberson, Taylor Parker, Blake Parker, and Cody Lance. He was also a beloved uncle to his niece, Emryn Parker, and nephew, Reece Beasley. Additionally, he is survived by his significant other, Raven Caldwell, with whom he shared a deep bond.
Brian was preceded in death by his daughter, Halley Ball, and grandparents, Stanley and Sue Taylor. His family and friends plan to celebrate his life and remember his legacy at a service on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The Celebration of Life will take place at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in Andrews, NC, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with services officiated by Jesse Adams, Matt Jones, and Shawn Clark.
