Sindelfingen, Germany – Bruno Sacco, the revered designer behind some of the most iconic Mercedes-Benz models, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, at the age of 90.
Known as the "father of modern Mercedes," Sacco’s designs shaped the face of the luxury car brand for decades, with his work on models such as the W116, W123, W124, W126, W140, R107, R129, and W220 standing the test of time.
Sacco’s legacy in automotive design has left an indelible mark, with admirers around the world paying tribute to his work and life.
Dale Zhafri Fuad, sharing his thoughts from Sindelfingen, expressed his grief: "In memory of Mr. Bruno Sacco. Thank you, sir, for designing an everlasting classic Mercedes Benz."
