Mbake, aged 61, was a cherished figure within the Cape Point Hotel community, where he worked since 1985. Over nearly four decades, he played a significant role in shaping the hotel’s identity and was known for his dedication to providing exceptional service and care to both guests and staff.
Mbake was especially known for his contributions to Cape Point’s renowned Christmas Buffets, an event he managed for over 35 years. The Cape Point Hotel Family expressed their heartbreak over the loss, sharing that they would forever treasure the memories created with him.
