Fernandina Beach, Florida – Carl Lindsey Sr., a cherished husband, father, and community pastor, tragically passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2024.
His sudden death has left family and friends mourning the loss of a man who brought joy and support to many.
Known for his dedication to his community, Lindsey served as a local pastor, often making 2 a.m. hospital visits to help those in need.
He was a loving father to seven children and a grandfather to sixteen grandchildren.
A GoFundMe has been established to assist the family with funeral costs, as Lindsey was the primary income provider.
His son, Carl Lindsey Jr., expressed the family’s grief, stating, “We lost our dad unexpectedly… He created hundreds of unforgettable dad jokes that we’ll ensure get passed down for generations.”
The funeral service will take place today, September 25, 2024, at Springhill Baptist Church, with viewing at 11 a.m. and the service commencing at 12 p.m.
