Camden, New Jersey – Carla Mahan, a 41-year-old resident of Camden, tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
The accident occurred at around 3:21 p.m. at the intersection of 7th and Tulip Streets, where a vehicle struck her while she was crossing the street.
Emergency services quickly arrived and transported her to Cooper University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:06 p.m.
Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay confirmed that authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the incident, with no current description of the vehicle involved.
The Camden County Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue to search for the driver responsible.
