Suakoko, Liberia – The medical and academic communities are mourning the loss of Carolyn A. Miller, a beloved medical missionary, nursing and midwifery practitioner, and instructor.
She passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024.
Carolyn dedicated her life to healthcare and education, serving at both Cuttington University and Phebe Hospital & School of Nursing in Bong County, Liberia.
Her impact on students and colleagues was profound, with many recalling her warmth, dedication, and the inspiration she provided to those around her.
The Cuttington University Alumni Association shared the news of her passing on Facebook, stating, “We mourn the loss of our beloved Scorpion, Carolyn A. Miller… May her soul rest in perfect peace.”
Tributes have poured in from friends and colleagues.
Sonie B. Kekula wrote, “I can vividly remember that Carolyn Miller touched so many lives in Bong County and beyond.
May her soul rest well.”
