Camp Chippewa for Boys – Charles Beeler, a beloved member of the Camp Chippewa for Boys community, passed away, as announced on September 27, 2024.
Beeler, who was deeply involved with the camp for many years, held various roles as a camper, counselor, board chair, and board member.
His contributions played an instrumental role in shaping the camp’s mission and values, especially through his work in founding the Camp Chippewa Foundation in 1999.
Charles was not only a leader but also a friend to many, with his impact felt throughout the Chippewa family.
As the camp community mourns, they are also reflecting on his remarkable influence and the memories he helped create, from leading canoe trips to fostering lifelong friendships.
In a social media post, Camp Chippewa expressed their sorrow, saying, “Charles’ impact and foresight have forever shaped Camp Chippewa.”
The post also conveyed peace, love, and healing to the Beeler family during this difficult time.
