Lincolnton, North Carolina – Charles Monroe Price, a beloved husband, father, and United States Air Force veteran, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 86.
Mr. Price, who was born on April 9, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina, was a longtime resident of Lincolnton, where he worked in textiles after serving his country.
He is remembered as a dedicated family man and a pillar of strength for his community.
A graveside service for Mr. Price will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Jeff Goudelock officiating.
Family and friends are invited to gather prior to the service, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Warlick Funeral Home to pay their respects.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Price and Rosalee Kimble Price, and his sisters, Patsy, Joyce, and Margie.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Gantt Price, their three sons, William “Bill” Price, Lyle Price, and Rex Price, as well as his daughter, Lynn Armstrong.
Additionally, he leaves behind twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
