Georgia – The family and friends of Chikara Collins are mourning the tragic loss of a devoted mother and cherished friend, who passed away on Friday morning at the age of 44.
Chikara, a former choir member, relocated to Georgia in search of better opportunities for herself and her two children, Kimaya Jackson, 20, and Kamal Green, 16.
She was discovered deceased by her daughter, Kimaya, who, devastated, has since been supported by family and friends during this profoundly difficult time.
Chikara’s untimely passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of her children and all who knew her.
Her friend Kevin O. Davis shared on social media, “My heart goes out to the Collins family during this incredibly difficult time.
Chikara was always willing to lend a helping hand, and her kindness touched many.”
Davis has organized a fundraiser to assist Kimaya and Kamal with their immediate expenses and future needs, including educational support.
Expressing her grief, Ursula Sparks commented, “This is absolutely devastating.
My heart goes out to her children.”
Fred Davis echoed similar sentiments, extending condolences to the family.
Chikara’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, as the community gathers to support her children in their time of need.
