Kesgrave, Suffolk – The Kesgrave Tennis Club community is mourning the loss of Chris Peck, a beloved and long-standing member, who recently passed away.
His sudden departure has left family, friends, and club members deeply saddened.
Chris had a profound love for tennis, frequently participating in weekly matches and sharing the court with his friends.
In recent years, he found immense joy in playing tennis with his grandson, fostering a new generation’s love for the sport.
This shared passion between them exemplified the spirit of the club and brought joy to those around him.
In memory of Chris, several teams from the Kesgrave Tennis Club, including the men’s team, held a minute of applause last week, alongside the Sproughton team, as a mark of respect.
His contributions to the club and the community will be remembered fondly.
The club also extended heartfelt thanks to Becky for her quick response in seeking emergency assistance when Chris’s health deteriorated, as well as to the community center for their support during this difficult time.
