Cody Savago Tragically Passes Away in Fatal Car Accident Days Before Wedding, Family and Friends Mourn

Kingston, NY – Cody Savago passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2024, due to a fatal car accident, leaving behind his fiancée Kimberly and her two children. This tragic event occurred just days before Cody and Kimberly were to be married, devastating their family and friends.

Cody was deeply loved by those around him, and his sudden loss has left a profound impact on his community. Kimberly, who is now caring for her children, is trying to cope with the heartbreaking loss of her best friend and soulmate.

A fundraiser organized by Nicole Thomas has been set up to support Kimberly during this difficult time. So far, $220 of the $5,000 goal has been raised to help ease the burden that Kimberly now carries. Donations continue to come in from friends, including Karen Craig who contributed $100, Deanna Christiano who donated $20, and Nicole Thomas with $100.

Many friends and loved ones have shared their condolences and grief on Facebook. Adam J. Zielinski wrote, “My condolences to the Savago family. RIP Cody,” and mentioned that Cody was set to be married this month. Chris Anthony expressed his sorrow by saying, "Broooo. I just found out. I’m at such a loss."

Ricky Burr posted, “RIP Cody,” while Georgette Zimmerman commented, “So very sad.” Tanya Leigh echoed similar sentiments, saying, “It’s so dang sad.” Cindy Zielinski added, “So sorry for your loss Savago family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.” Teri Chandler extended her sympathies as well, writing, “So very sorry Adam. Sending my thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies to the Savago family, his fiancée, and friends. Rest in eternal peace, Cody.”
