Rotherham, UK – Colin Anderson, a beloved local butcher known for his shops on Muglet Lane and Little Haynooking Lane, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, September 26, 2024.

He was 78 years old and spent his final days at Roach Abbey Care Home, following a prolonged battle with dementia.

Despite his illness, Colin was known for his ever-present smile and the joy he brought to those around him.

Colin was not only a cherished butcher but also enjoyed playing golf in his younger days with friends from the Stute.

His passing has left a deep impact on the local community, with many sharing their memories and condolences on social media.

Linzi Rathbone, who helped care for Colin during his last two years, shared on behalf of his wife Jean, “Colin never let his illness get him down, and he always made everyone around him smile.”
