Pendleton, Indiana – Dallas Harvey, a cherished member of the Pendleton community, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Dallas was known for his hard work, positive attitude, and dedication as both a player and later as a manager in the Pendleton Heights basketball program.
His passing has left many who knew him heartbroken, as friends and family remember the joy and light he brought to their lives.
Dallas’s former basketball coach, Nick Rogers, reflected on his time with him, saying, “Dallas Harvey was an absolute treasure of a person. He always gave his best and more to everything he did.”
Dallas accepted Christ as a young boy and later reaffirmed his faith through baptism at Pendleton Christian Church, a testament to his deep spiritual connection.
Social media tributes have poured in, with Annie Bradnick Stock stating, “Such a wonderful young man! My deepest sympathy to his family and friends,” and Christine Swank sharing, “Dallas was a wonderful young man. Praying for his friends and family.”
A service honoring Dallas Harvey’s life will be held at Madison Park Church of God on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Calling hours are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m.
His passing is a profound loss for those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire.
