Dallin Andreasen, Kaysville, UT Resident, Dies in Tragic Paramotor Accident Over Willard Peak Pursuing Lifelong Dream

Kaysville, Utah – Dallin Andreasen, a resident of Kaysville, UT, tragically lost his life in a paramotor accident over Willard Peak on Friday, October 25, 2024, at approximately 6 p.m.

The cause of the accident remains undetermined.

Upon realizing he was overdue, his family accessed his flight path, enabling Search & Rescue teams to locate him.

Despite their efforts, they were unable to retrieve him until the morning of October 26, when they successfully transported him home via helicopter.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Andreasen held a profound passion for flight from a young age, even pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering, which he completed earlier this summer.

His journey into paramotoring began with a week of dedicated training, during which he took more than 30 flights, fulfilling a lifelong dream to “soar” and explore the skies.

Loved ones are left mourning but take solace in memories of his exuberant joy and commitment to life.

“Dallin was always full of life, pursuing every passion wholeheartedly,” his family shared, while also expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support.

Information regarding memorial services will be shared at a later date as the family continues to process this profound loss.
