Dalton "Jake" Lee Williams, Long-Time Resident of Dover, Delaware, Passes Away at 80

Dover, Delaware – Dalton "Jake" Lee Williams, a beloved long-time resident of Dover, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024, at the age of 80.

Surrounded by his family, Jake’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born on March 21, 1944, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to Ruth C. and Thomas D. Williams, Jake was known for his generous spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

After graduating from Milton Hershey School in 1963, Jake served with pride in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was recognized as a proficient sharpshooter.

His service to the country remained a source of immense pride for him throughout his life.

Jake’s warmth and loyalty endeared him to many, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him.
