Albert Lea, Minnesota – David Eugene Weber, aged 68, passed away on September 20, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Mankato, surrounded by his family after a brave fight with cancer.
His passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
David, known for his love of family and hard work, was born on January 16, 1956, in Albert Lea, MN.
He attended St. Theodore’s Catholic School and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1974.
David’s early life was marked by health challenges, including multiple kidney transplants, yet his resilience and positive spirit prevailed.
David married his high school sweetheart, Robin Rippentrop, in 1974, and together they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
He worked at Wilson and Co. meat processing plant for nearly three decades and delivered the Minneapolis Star Tribune for 32 years.
Despite his many health struggles, David found joy in spending time outdoors, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and sharing laughter with his grandkids.
He is survived by his loving wife, Robin, daughters Shelly and Nikki, and three grandchildren.

David Eugene Weber’s memorial service will be held on October 2, 2024, at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home.
