Wilmington, Ohio – David Joseph "Joe Bake" Baker, aged 42, passed away on September 23, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, after a long battle with illness.
Born on January 15, 1982, in Wilmington, Baker was a beloved figure in his community, known for his kind heart and loyalty. He grew up in Clarksville, where he was well-known by many.
Baker is survived by his mother, Melanie Baker of Wilmington, his brothers Michael B. Baker of Franklin and Christopher S. Baker of Clarksville, as well as his sister Megan L. Baker of Wilmington.
He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends and family members. Baker was preceded in death by his father, Daily Baker.
A visitation service will be held at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
