Lowell, MA – The passing of David Vandi Sr., a cherished father, has left his family and friends heartbroken as they mourn the loss of a man remembered for his kindness and selflessness.
David Vandi Sr. passed away following a long battle with a chronic illness, according to his son, David Vandi Jr.
In a heartfelt message, David Vandi Jr. shared memories of his father, describing him as a man who "always thought of others more than himself" and was known for his generosity.
Vandi Jr. is currently fundraising to return to Guinea, where his father will be laid to rest.
"I’ve never raised anything like this before, but I would love to go as soon as possible so things don’t get more complicated, and I never get the chance," he expressed in the fundraiser’s message.
The fundraiser has received support from friends and family, with individuals such as Caleb Deane, Jason Beaver, and Ian Pereira making contributions to help Vandi Jr. achieve his goal.
In a comment on social media, Patrick Coughlin expressed his condolences, while Jane Mercy added, "I saw something important might be missing from your campaign."
David Vandi Sr. is survived by his son, David Jr., his daughter, Davida, and his wife, Marie.
