Saukville, Wisconsin – Dawn D. Boeselager, a dedicated advocate for animal rescue and founder of Tailwaggers 911 Dog Rescue, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60 on the evening of October 9, 2024, at her home.

Her passing has left a profound impact on her family, friends, and the community she served with passion and care.

Born on January 19, 1964, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Dawn spent her life working tirelessly to improve the lives of countless dogs, providing them with safe and loving homes.

She is remembered as a selfless individual whose dedication to saving animals has left a lasting legacy in Saukville and beyond.

Dawn’s work through Tailwaggers 911 Dog Rescue helped rescue hundreds of dogs, changing the lives of not only the animals but also the families who adopted them.

Haley White, one of many who benefited from Dawn’s efforts, shared, "Rest in peace Dawn, we got our Moose because of her."
