Indianapolis, Indiana – Dorothy Terry, a cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday night, leaving behind loved ones who are mourning her loss.
She was 85 years old and had been battling Alzheimer’s disease for several years.
Her passing was confirmed by her granddaughter, Sarah Rakes, who shared the sad news on social media.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the First Baptist of Beech Grove, located at 5521 Churchman Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana.
The family viewing will be from 12-1 PM, and the public viewing from 2-4 PM, followed by a dinner.
Dorothy’s passing has drawn many heartfelt condolences from family and friends.
Sarah Rakes shared her sorrow on Facebook, with many offering their prayers and support.
Kelli Pagel expressed her regrets, saying, "Sorry I won’t be able to make it, you are all in my thoughts and prayers."
Rudy Huxtable added, "Will keep you in my prayers Ms. Sarah," while Lu Lu shared, "My heart and prayers are with you and your family."
