Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana – Dr. William Nicholas Abraham, a 69-year-old mental health therapist from Baton Rouge, was tragically found deceased on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
His body was discovered wrapped in a tarp along Highway 51, between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa, sparking a homicide investigation by local authorities.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, Dr. Abraham died from blunt force injuries, and his death is being treated as a murder.
Detectives are working to determine the location where the crime took place, with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office assisting in the investigation.
Dr. Abraham was a well-respected therapist in his community, with many recalling his positive impact on both his patients and colleagues.
