Topeka, KS – Emillio Elliott Sr., a beloved member of the Topeka community, tragically passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
Despite efforts to resuscitate him, Elliott sustained severe brain damage, leaving no chance of recovery.
Surrounded by family, he was peacefully removed from life support after an hour-long attempt to revive him.
His untimely passing has left his loved ones in shock, as he did not have life insurance, prompting a GoFundMe campaign organized by DaySean Phelps to assist with burial and funeral expenses.
DaySean Phelps, the fundraiser organizer, shared heartfelt words, “He transitioned peacefully with family surrounding him.”
The community has expressed an outpouring of support, with many offering their condolences and prayers.
