Clarence, New York – The Akron-Clarence community is mourning the loss of Flora Leamer, a beloved figure known for her dedication to the Erie County Fair and numerous community projects.
Flora passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of generosity, selflessness, and joy.
A longtime resident of Clarence, Flora was deeply involved in the Erie County Fair, where she volunteered tirelessly, always ready to assist in whatever way she could.
Her radiant smile and positive spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered, and she was a pillar of support to the fair’s staff and her fellow community members.
Social media was flooded with tributes to Flora’s kind and compassionate nature.
Marty Biniasz reflected, “Flora was an enthusiastic supporter of the Erie County Fair… My deepest sympathies to her husband John.”
Melanie Conklin shared, “She was always such a wonderful person to us… She will be missed.”
Flora is survived by her husband, John, who is a longtime board member of the Erie County Agricultural Society.
