Helena, Montana – Florence Brennan, a dedicated member of Soroptimist International of Helena, passed away on October 8, 2024, following health complications.
Her passing has left a profound impact on her community, as well as on the broader Soroptimist movement, where she was known for her unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment and community service.
Florence Brennan had been an active member of the Soroptimist International since 1995, first serving in Geraldton before transferring to the Helena chapter six years ago.
Her leadership and advocacy were widely recognized, particularly in her roles within the Soroptimist International South West Pacific Federation, where she served as Federation Program Coordinator and Friendship Link Coordinator.
Since 2020, Florence held the position of Friendship Link Officer at SI Helena, where her contributions were celebrated for their dedication and compassion.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the high standards she set in service.
The Soroptimist community expressed their condolences to Florence’s husband, Morris, and her family, noting her lasting legacy and the many lives she touched.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by her family in due course.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
