Napa, California – Georgina Padilla, 38, of Napa, has been identified as one of the victims in a tragic double shooting that occurred on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
The incident took place on the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, where both Padilla and Ralph Andino III, 54, of American Canyon, were found suffering from gunshot wounds outside a residence.
Despite immediate efforts by first responders, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Napa County Sheriff’s Office quickly identified 28-year-old Baltazar Rangel Juarez as the suspect in the shooting.
Following a standoff with police later that afternoon, Juarez attempted to take his own life but survived and remains hospitalized.
The incident, which shocked the Napa community, occurred around 9:45 a.m., leading law enforcement on a pursuit that ended in Kennedy Park, where Juarez’s vehicle was disabled.
