Jackson, Michigan – It is with great sadness that the Jackson Eagles community announces the passing of their Auxiliary Sister, Geri Koshmider, on October 11, 2024.
A dedicated and beloved member of the Jackson Eagles, Geri served as a Trustee for several years, offering her time and support in many roles, including at the Bingo hall, where she was a welcoming presence on Saturday nights.
She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness and her willingness to assist others.
Geri was known for her devotion to her family, frequently sharing stories about her granddaughters, whom she adored.
Her love for her companion, Frank Brewster, was evident to those who knew her, and she inspired many through her affection and generosity.
Tributes and condolences poured in through social media as those close to Geri expressed their grief.
Michelle Scott wrote, "She was a very sweet lady. I am sad to hear this. May she rest in peace."
Lucille Vannurden added, "So sorry to hear this. RIP, Geri."
Geri Koshmider’s presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she served so selflessly.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family.
