Glenda Suttles Roberts, Beloved Northside Christian Academy Supporter, Passes Away Following Car Accident in Winston-Salem, NC

Winston-Salem, North Carolina – Glenda Suttles Roberts, a cherished member of the Northside Christian Academy community and mother of two, has tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Roberts’ untimely death on October 28, 2024, has left her family, friends, and the Northside Christian Academy community grieving the loss of a remarkable individual known for her kindness and dedication.

Roberts was deeply involved in supporting the academy, where her sons, Cory Suttles and Colton Suttles, were students.

Her dedication extended beyond the usual parental involvement; she was a frequent volunteer and even worked briefly in the school cafeteria.

"She was always at the school doing something to help and to serve," wrote Phylia Corzine Smith, a fellow academy community member, adding that Roberts was known for her positivity and warm smile.

Roberts’ life, marked by her faith and commitment to helping others, left a lasting impression on the community.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, from 10 to 11 a.m. at 274 Mt Vernon Church Rd, Winston-Salem, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.

The graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt Holly, NC, beginning at 11 a.m.
