Glasgow, Scotland – Gordon Mac, a cherished husband and best friend, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was surrounded by his loving family and wife, Morag MacIntyre, who shared the heartbreaking news on social media.
According to Morag, Gordon was not ready to go and fought valiantly to spend more time with his loved ones.
His loss has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.
A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 12 PM at the Glasgow Crematorium, followed by a gathering at Kilmardinny House in Milngavie.
Morag also encouraged attendees to wear Iron Maiden t-shirts, in honor of Gordon’s love for the band, though this is not mandatory.
The heartfelt tributes poured in from friends and acquaintances online.
Andrena Fisher expressed, “Awwww am so sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.”
Pam Sheridan added, “I’m absolutely heartbroken for you, Morag. Love to you and all the family.”
