Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania – Hailey Marie Hopkins, a customer representative at Whitetail Disposal Inc., tragically passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2024. She was only 23 years old.
Born on May 14, 2001, in Cape May County, NJ, Hailey moved to Philadelphia before settling in Gilbertsville. She is survived by her mother, Heather, stepfather, Chuck, sister, Lilly, and grandmother, Donna, along with a large extended family who cherished her deeply.
Hailey graduated from Boyertown High School in 2019 and had aspirations of becoming a lawyer. Throughout her life, she was known for her artistic talents and love for the outdoors, often spending time fishing, kayaking, and enjoying her family’s lake house in Union Dale.
Sadly, Hailey battled addiction and mental health issues for over five years. Despite her struggles, she displayed immense strength and resilience, achieving 60 days of sobriety shortly before her passing. Her family hopes she has found peace and love in the afterlife.
