Brantford, Ontario – Jeff De Prosperis, a beloved husband and father, passed away this past Sunday after a valiant battle with stage 4 cancer.
He was 45 years old.
Jeff, who is survived by his wife Martha and their two sons, fought terminal cancer for over two and a half years, defying the initial prognosis that gave him only months to live.
Despite undergoing nearly 50 rounds of chemotherapy and multiple fasts, Jeff remained dedicated to his family and his mission to help others.
He became an inspiration to many, sharing his cancer journey on YouTube, where his videos reached over 1 million people.
His friends and family remember him as a trailblazer who promoted metabolic health and resilience in the face of a devastating diagnosis.
Barb Michalski Cole, a neighbor, shared, “Rick and I lost our neighbor Jeff this past Sunday… He courageously fought stage 4 cancer and was determined to beat the odds.”
Sheila Greene also expressed her sorrow, saying, “Makes no sense to lose somebody so young. Hugs and prayers for his family.”
Now, the community is rallying to support Jeff’s family through a GoFundMe campaign organized by Dwight Garlow to help with medical expenses and other challenges they face in the wake of this tragic loss.
Jeff’s memory will continue to inspire those who followed his journey and those whose lives he touched.
