Crown Point, Indiana – John Todorofski, a beloved member of the community and lifelong steelworker, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024, at the age of 90, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
John was a lifelong member of SS Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral and retired from LTV Steel after 42 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera, his parents Stojan and Sofia, his brother Pavle, and two sisters, Jordana and Spasa.
John is survived by his three daughters: Julie Pilatos, Helen Stefanovic, and Sophie Stefoski, along with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral in Crown Point, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Georgij Gligorov and Rev. Alekandar Mitrov.
Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery.
