Gainesville, GA – Jose Inez Jaimes, a well-known and respected figure in the Gainesville community, has tragically passed away after a long and difficult battle with health complications.
Mr. Jaimes had been suffering from cirrhosis and kidney failure, conditions that required him to undergo dialysis and other treatments.
He spent his final days in the hospital, intubated as his family prepared for his passing.
His daughter, Jenny Jaimes, shared an emotional post on social media, saying, "Papi, I love you and it will be hard not to have you around.
You’re not gone yet, but it will be hard when you do."
Jose Inez Jaimes was recognized for his kindness, his social nature, and his generosity towards others.
He was a prominent and beloved member of the Gainesville community, known by many names including George Gutierrez and Cristobal.
Messages of support and condolences have poured in from family and friends.
