Ossining, New York – Jose Paccha Morocho, a cherished member of the local community, passed away on October 29, 2024, leaving friends and family in deep sorrow.
His sister, Rosa Paccha, shared the news on social media, expressing the family’s profound heartbreak and inviting the community to a rosary in his memory.
The service was held the same evening at 7 p.m. at 175 Main St., Ossining, NY.
Rosa further emphasized the family’s wish to repatriate Jose’s body to his home country, enabling him to say a final farewell to his parents and family.
To assist with this effort, a fundraiser has been organized to cover the costs of his repatriation.
Supporters have already donated, with four contributions amounting to $400 out of a $15,000 goal.
Condolences poured in, with Adrian Lalvay expressing, “Mi más sentido pésame para toda la familia… que papá Dios le tenga en su santa gloria,” and Mary Ramón sharing heartfelt sympathy for Rosa and her family.
