Joseph "Dirty" Roth, Beloved Community Member and Motorcycle Enthusiast, Passes Away Unexpectedly at 48 in Byron, Illinois

Byron, Illinois – Joseph “Dirty” Roth, a cherished member of the biker community and loving family man, unexpectedly passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 48.

Born in Elgin, Illinois, on November 20, 1975, Joseph grew up in Gilberts before moving to Hampshire, where he forged lifelong friendships and excelled in sports during his high school years.

He married his beloved wife, Amanda Chapman, on April 5, 2003, and together they built a beautiful life with their four daughters.

Known for his love of motorcycles and his infectious personality, Joseph was a proud member of ABATE, advocating for bikers’ rights and freedoms.

He often expressed his passion by leaving smiley face-shaped burnouts and attending concerts with friends.

He was the life of every gathering and always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Condolences from the community have poured in, with Ashley M. Lee sending “prayers to his family and friends from the biker community,” while Christina C. Edwards shared, “I’m praying for his family.”

Joseph is survived by his wife Amanda and daughters Autumn, Kennedy, Josie, and Bella, as well as numerous family members and friends.

His funeral will take place at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Byron on October 5, 2024, with a procession of motorcycles invited to honor his memory.
