Greensboro, North Carolina – A tragic motorcycle accident early Monday morning claimed the life of Joshua Bailey, 37, on Interstate 73. The incident occurred around 6:20 a.m. near West Gate City Boulevard, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Bailey was riding his Suzuki motorcycle northbound when it was struck by an Acura, ejecting him from the motorcycle. After being thrown from the bike, he was hit by another vehicle. Despite the quick arrival of emergency responders, Bailey succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Greensboro Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision, and no charges have been filed in connection with the accident. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
