Austin, Texas – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist killed in a collision involving a Capital Metro bus as 33-year-old Joshua Lee-Michael Babb.
The tragic accident occurred on the morning of September 24, 2024, at around 7:40 a.m. in the 100 block of East Koenig Lane.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene where Babb was declared dead after his motorcycle collided with the bus.
One passenger aboard the CapMetro bus sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital, with their condition reported as non-life-threatening.
The Austin Police Department’s Vehicular Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
