Grand Rapids, Michigan – Dr. Justin Singer, a prominent neurosurgeon and director of vascular neurosurgery at Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, has passed away unexpectedly, leaving the medical community and loved ones mourning the loss of a skilled physician and dedicated individual.
An online obituary announced his sudden passing on Monday, October 28, 2024, although the cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Dr. Singer was deeply respected for his contributions to neurosurgery and for his commitment to his patients.
Dr. Singer, originally from just outside of New York City, earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.
He completed both his neurosurgical residency and an endovascular fellowship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland.
Known for his expertise in treating intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and central nervous system tumors, Dr. Singer led the vascular neurosurgery program at Corewell Health, where his colleagues held him in high regard.
