Carlyle, Illinois – Kevin Kampwerth, a respected longtime employee of Huels Oil Company and a cherished member of the Carlyle community, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 64.
Kevin Kampwerth’s passing was confirmed in an announcement from Huels Oil Company, where he had worked as a Bulk Plant Manager for over 40 years.
His death has left both his family and colleagues mourning the loss of a man who was deeply devoted to his work and his loved ones.
Kampwerth was the first official employee of Huels Oil Company, starting his career on January 8, 1981, and helping to shape the company’s growth over the years.
He was known not only for his commitment to his job but also for fostering strong relationships with those around him, both at work and in the Carlyle community.
Friends and family have shared heartfelt messages in tribute to him.
