Lee “El” Anthony Arrington, a respected member of the Laurel, Mississippi community, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the age of 66. Arrington, who attended Laurel High School and was known among classmates from the 1975 Dragonado class, is being mourned by family, friends, and the wider community.
Arrington’s passing was announced on social media, where heartfelt condolences poured in. Linda Anderson shared, “Sadly, Lee ‘El’ Anthony Arrington passed away Sunday in Laurel, MS. Please keep the family in prayer.” Many others also expressed their sympathies, including Jesse Husband who wrote, "My condolences to the entire family," and Evelyn Hicks who added, "My sincere condolences to the family."
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurel. Arrangements are being handled by Brown’s Mortuary.
