Amite City, Louisiana – Lieutenant Peter Muse, a respected member of the Amite City Police Department’s reserve division, passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 74.
Lt. Muse had served the department faithfully for over 52 years, having joined in 1972.
His dedication to the community and his colleagues left a lasting impact, as he was deeply admired by all who knew him.
Chief Lendrick Francois of the Amite City Police Department expressed his sorrow, stating, "Lt. Muse will be truly missed by our department and the entire Amite community."
