England – The community is mourning the loss of Lindsey Jane Bye, a beloved friend and animal lover, who passed away earlier this year after battling cancer.
Her passing has inspired a touching tribute, with a skydive fundraiser being organized by her close friend Jacqueline Fussell to honor her memory.
Jacqueline, who shared over 30 years of friendship with Lindsey, described her as a selfless and compassionate person who never complained despite her illness.
"She was always interested in you and your life.
I’ve never met a more unselfish person," Jacqueline shared.
The fundraiser, benefiting Macmillan Cancer Support and Hugo’s Home Farm animal sanctuary in Spain, was announced on social media, with many joining to express their support and condolences.
Elaine Hallinan, Margaret Kay, Paul Townend, and others have already made contributions, with heartfelt comments accompanying the donations.
Jacqueline mentioned that the skydive will take place in early spring 2024, saying, "This is for you Linz, wrap your angel arms around me."
Lindsey’s love for animals and her enduring kindness continue to inspire those who knew her, as friends and family rally to ensure her memory lives on through charitable efforts.
