Luc L. Godbout, Beloved Motorcycle Enthusiast and Family Man, Passes Away at 59 in Berlin, NH

Berlin, New Hampshire – Luc L. Godbout, a beloved member of the Berlin community, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Androscoggin Valley Hospital at the age of 59.

His sudden passing has left family, friends, and the local community deeply saddened.

Luc was born on October 9, 1964, in Berlin, NH, to the late Roland and Irene Godbout.

He was a longtime member of the Road Kings Motorcycle Club, with over 20 years of riding experience.

Luc was known for his "Wild man" style with long hair, tattoos, and a love for Rock ‘n’ Roll and Heavy Metal music, but he was also a gentle soul who brought joy and laughter to those around him.

Throughout his life, Luc worked at Wildcat Ski Area, White Mountain Lumber, Vallee Lumber Co., and Mountain Tire Corp.

He had a passion for woodworking and creating various handmade items, such as tables and boxes.

Luc is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Jamie Godbout, his daughter Tabitha and her wife Alyssa, his grandson Gabriel, and step-son Cameron Broad, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he considered family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the White Mountain Chalet in Berlin, NH.

Condolences poured in on social media following his passing.

Tina Mann expressed, “Luc will be deeply missed for many reasons.

He always could make people laugh!”

Peter Laflamme shared, “He was a great man. R.I.P. Luke, you’ll always be remembered."

Luc’s legacy of joy, laughter, and kindness will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
